Collar expansion

Here is an example of how impactive the new collars and aprons are going to change the look of the hole. This is 16, par 3 short hole. The collar is triple in size and the apron is being cut to give the golfer more options around the greens. Next month, we begin the greens expansion. This green will have approx. 900 ft2 added to the back giving us about 15 new pin placements.
The yellow "dead" look is from scalping and will return to green in a few weeks.

Tee expansion project

We are currently undergoing a tee area expansion and "squaring" project. All in an effort to create more tee marker placement and to ease the stress on the tees during season. The square look is a traditional golf course design technique and will add more character to the tee boxes.

Expanding and squaring tee boxes

In an effort to return Vista Plantation to its traditional design, we have begun the process of squaring off the tee areas and increasing their size. This is an ongoing process that will take a few weeks to complete and a few months to fully grow in.
